I didn’t come from a corporate background or a textbook idea of business.

I started by importing diamond and genuine gemstone jewellery.

That meant learning firsthand how products move, where margins are made and lost, how suppliers affect the end result, and how quickly an opportunity can appear when you understand demand before everyone else does.

From the beginning, my strength wasn’t manufacturing. It was seeing gaps.

Places where customers wanted something better, different or more accessible than what the market was giving them.

That ability to spot an opportunity and work out how to commercialise it became the foundation for everything that followed.

Building Brands by Filling Real Gaps

That instinct led to the creation and growth of multiple businesses across products, retail, services and ecommerce, including NZ Tools, My Baby, Tonneaus NZ and others.

The industries changed, but the pattern rarely did.

A genuine gap.
A product people wanted.
A commercial opportunity worth backing.

Some businesses grew quickly. Some changed direction. Some taught harder lessons than others.

But every one of them reinforced the same thing: A good product is only the beginning.

Positioning matters. Margins matter. Distribution matters. Control matters. And when you put your own money into stock, you learn very quickly which decisions actually matter.

The Lessons You Only Learn The Hard Way…

Like many business owners, I’ve also experienced the less glamorous side of product growth.

Products copied. Suppliers cutting corners. Margins squeezed. Competitors appearing once demand was proven. Opportunities that looked great on paper but didn’t stack up commercially.

Those experiences weren’t theoretical lessons.

My money was in the product.

They taught me where brands lose control, why chasing volume can destroy value, and why a marketplace opportunity only matters if the economics behind it make sense.

That experience is a huge part of what TPR Brands is built on today.

Why TPR Works Differently

TPR Brands isn’t built around simply selling Amazon advice.

Our preferred model is to buy products wholesale and put our own capital behind growing the Amazon opportunity.

Sometimes we start by managing an existing Amazon operation first. Sometimes we move straight into wholesale.

Either way, the goal is the same: We want skin in the game. When the product grows, we grow.

We Put Our Money Behind the Opportunities We Believe In.

Global Expansion, Done Properly

Amazon makes international expansion look simple. It isn’t.

Different markets bring different compliance requirements, fulfilment structures, competition, consumer expectations and commercial realities.

TPR Brands works across Australia, USA, Canada and the UK, supported by FBA infrastructure and experienced operational partners. Depending on the partnership, we can take responsibility for marketplace setup, catalogue structure, listings, advertising, compliance, inventory strategy, fulfilment and ongoing growth.

We don’t expand for the sake of being everywhere. We look for markets where the product has a genuine opportunity, then put the right structure behind it.

One strong market is worth more than five fragmented ones.

Who This Is For

We look for quality consumer products that are already on Amazon and give us something real to evaluate.

You might already be selling well. You might have a handful of reviews, weak listings and an Amazon channel nobody has properly developed yet.

Either can interest us.

What matters is that there’s a solid product, a genuine market opportunity, workable economics and a brand worth putting resources behind. If the product is still experimental, driven by a short-term trend or only works through heavy discounting, we’re probably not the right fit.

But if there’s something good underneath the Amazon account and you believe it can go further: we’d like to see it.
